CMA/ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming
The CMA/ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming recognize ensembles and presenters demonstrating innovative approaches to the programming of new chamber music, as well as the audience development activities and marketing strategies that accompany it.
New chamber music is defined as contemporary classical, jazz and/or world music, written for 2–10 musicians, composed within the past 25 years.
The 2014 Award recipients will receive $500 and a commemorative plaque, presented at the CMA National Conference, January 16–19, 2014, in New York City.
