Winner of 2012 DownBeatCritics Poll for Best Jazz Clarinet, Anat Cohen has won hearts and minds the world over with her expressive virtuosity and delightful stage presence. Anat has been voted Clarinetist of the Year six years in a row by the Jazz Journalists Association, as well as 2012’s Multi-Reeds Player of the Year. In 2009, Anat became the first Israeli to headline at the Village Vanguard—the setting for perhaps the most celebrated live recordings in jazz history—and she remains a fixture on the New York scene.

Additional master class: Anat Cohen will lead a master class with jazz students from South Side high schools following her concert. The master class will begin at approximately 4:00 pm in the Logan Center Performance Penthouse. This master class is free and audience members are invited to observe.
