Everyone but the cellist plays standing up, and when the music calls for it, they dig into their instruments with the exuberance of racehorses let out of the barn.” (Learning Musician)

The genre-defying string quartet Brooklyn Rider combines wildly eclectic repertoire with a gripping performance style. Their program spans Felix Mendelssohn’s early and spirited quartet to an original composition by the group, plus a recap of crossover and reimagined works from the Brooklyn Rider Almanac.
