Cadillac Moon Ensemble, an energetic and prolific member of New York’s contemporary music scene, will open its 5th season by celebrating their first full CD, Atlas, on Sunday, September 30th at 7:30pm at The DiMenna Center’s Norman S. Benzaquen Hall in New York City .
Founded in 2007 and based in New York City, Cadillac Moon Ensemble has commissioned more than fifty works for its unique instrumental forces of flute, violin, cello, and percussion. Atlas, released on New Dynamic Records, gives the listener a snapshot of the highlights from these exciting collaborations, featuring six recent works, including five commissions, by composers André Brégégère, Angélica Negrón, Shawn Allison, Erich Stem, and Edward RosenBerg III. The concert will also include CME hits by Timothy Andres and Samuel Crawford.
