Chapparal MusicFest Chamber Music Workshop

A weekend workshop for string, piano, woodwind and brass players aged teens through seniors. Individuals and pre-formed groups are welcome. Participants self-rate according to the Self-Rating Guide from ACMP-The Chamber Music Network (www.acmp.net/ratings). Repertoire will be chosen by the Director in consultation with the group, and parts will be mailed in advance. Groups will be coached by members of Quartet Sabaku, a Phoenix-area string quartet on the Teaching Artists Roster of the Arizona Commission on the Arts. Participants from out-of-town are welcome!

Program fee of $195 includes music, Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and one free ticket to the New Music Arizona Concert on September 9.  Several different scholarships are available; contact Henry Flurry for information at 928-777-8663.
