Davitt Moroney, harpsichord

Davitt Moroney, renowned harpsichordist and musicologist, plays the French Suites of J.S. Bach. Although distinctively italianate in style, these thrilling but ever gracious suites are comprised of French dance movements. Davitt Moroney is a well- known recording artist; Andrew L. Pincus of the New York Times compared his CD of Bach’s Art of Fugue to Michelangelo’s statue of Moses.
