Description

Washington DC's American Revolution Institute of the Society of the Cincinnati runs an American Music Concert Series at the Anderson House that highlights contemporary works by American composers. We are thrilled to present a program here of new American music in February 2018.

The program will feature the world premiere of Evis Sammoutis's J.II.9 fragments, commissioned through a 2016 Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Grant. We are excited to premiere this work in our hometown!

This commission has been made possible by the Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Program, with generous funding provided by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the Chamber Music America Endowment Fund.
