Duo Sonidos brings the striking combination of the guitar and violin to the forefront of classical chamber music. Established at New England Conservatory in 2006 by William Knuth and Adam Levin, Duo Sonidos has performed extensively in Europe and the United States. From 2008-2011, the Duo performed extensively in Europe while Knuth and Levin were studying as Fulbright Scholars in Vienna and Madrid, respectively.  In 2010, Duo Sonidos released their self-titled debut CD featuring musicby Astor Piazzolla, Manuel de Falla, Salvador Brotons, plus the premiere recording of VolavĂ©runt by Eduardo Morales-Caso.  Duo Sonidos subsequently won first prize at the 2010 Luys Milan Chamber Music Competition in Valencia, Spain.  Their performance includes the Michigan Premiere of Funk by Spanish-American composer Jorge Muniz.
