Currently home to the Ukrainian Institute of America, the Fletcher-Sinclair Mansion (across the street from the Metropolitan Museum of Art) is one of the most extravagantly beautiful turn-of-the-century homes in the City. The Gryphon will be performing a program that will include a commissioned arrangement for piano trio and voice of Mussorgsky’s “Songs and Dances of Death” together with Metropolitan Opera star Robert Pomakov, as well as music by Valentin Silvestrov and Shostakovich.
