Description

You can count on Camerata Pacifica to offer repertoire you won't hear elsewhere! Pavel Haas, a Jewish Czech composer, is known for his folk music and jazz-inflected music. Sir Malcolm Arnold wrote  everything from film scores to children's pieces, and was an exceptional composer for woodwinds. Poulenc, also a great woodwind composer, wrote the Clarinet Sonata near the end of his life; it is both virtuosic and profound. The Camerata Pacifica wind principals perform Dvorak's Piano Quintet in A Major, arranged by the great American horn player, David Jolley.
