We are thrilled to open our 20th season with a Bay Area favorite, the celebrated Ives Quartet. Intensity coupled with refinement highlight the Quartet's performances. They specialize in championing works of under-appreciated American composers, such as Cowell and Quincy Porter.
Tonight's program consists of quartets by Haydn, Cowell and Smetena.
