The first annual Jazzheads Records Jazz Festival will take place on May 4-5, starting at 7:00 p.m. The festival, in collaboration with the Players Foundation and Jazzheads Records, will coincide with the celebration of Jazzheads’ 20-year anniversary. Some of the Jazzheads’ artists lined up for the event are the Bobby Sanabria Multiverse Big Band, Mark Weinstein Afro-Cuban Jazz Project, Jeff Lederer, pianist Dave Frank, NYJazz Initiative, Randy Klein’s Two Duos featuring guitarist Alex Skolnick and vocalist Nik Munson and Gabriele Tranchina and others.
