Asheville Chamber Music Series
Formed in 2001, the Jupiter String Quartet earned first prize in the Banff International
Quartet Competition, followed in 2008 by an Avery Fisher Career Grant and the
Cleveland Quartet Award from Chamber Music America. Today the Jupiter is one of the
most sought-after quartets, having appeared in major concert halls such as Carnegie Hall,
London’s Wigmore Hall, Lincoln Center and Kennedy Center. They have been enthusiastically received at the Aspen Music Festival, the Caramoor International Festival, as well as the Seoul Spring Festival.
