Friends of Chamber Music opens our Piano Series with the multifaceted pianist Kirill Gerstein. Reaching beyond the classical genre with a background in jazz, Mr. Gerstein combines a masterful technique with an energetic and expressive musical personality. His program will feature Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and works by Haydn, Meldau, Ligeti, and Gershwin.
