AMERICAN MODERN ENSEMBLE presents MODERN MARIMBA at the Rubin Museum of Art (150 West 17 Street, New York, NY). The program will feature performances by Paterson, Nakura, and members of AME, showcasing selected works from each album. Paterson's performances will demonstrate his pioneering six mallet technique, including the world premiere of his Mandala, for marimba duo, for which he will be joined by Nakura.
