A Service of Advent Lessons and Carols

The Choir of Corpus Christi Church performs a “Lessons and Carols” that celebrates the early part of the Christmas season with readings and music foretelling the birth of Jesus and honoring the Virgin Mary. Victoria’s lovely Magnificat and Guerrero’s Ave Maria stand alongside 20th-century pieces—Harvey Burgett’s O come, O come Emmanuel and Catherine Aks’ The Girl.
