"Isserlis can turn a single note into a smile or a lament ...he listens with full attention to every sound he makes. It's the only way to explain the unrivalled intensity of his playing." (The Guardian)

Acclaimed British cellist Steven Isserlis joins forces with Kirill Gerstein, a Carnegie Hall “rising star” pianist. The sparkling duo’s performance will take audience members on a rich journey, from reimagined Finnish and Hungarian folk tunes to Brahms’ evocative and supremely romantic sonatas for cello and piano.
