Description

Join District5 in Washington DC for a program of explosive modern music. In "Super Ars Nova", D5 explores the strange and fascinating world of music on the precipice of change. Be the first to hear the exciting premiere of Evis Sammoutis's J.II.9 fragments, our 2016 Chamber Music America Classical Commission. We are excited to premiere this work in our hometown!

Washington DC's American Revolution Institute of the Society of the Cincinnati runs an American Music Concert Series at the Anderson House that highlights contemporary works by American composers.

This commission has been made possible by the Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Program, with generous funding provided by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the Chamber Music America Endowment Fund.
