Chameleon Musicians, inc. presents
Schubert the “Trout”
South Floridachamber music at its best
MAY 6 at 3pm
@
The Leiser Center
Don’t miss this spectacular South Florida concert as Chameleon finishes up its 10th anniversary season.
Acclaimed Croatian pianist, Kemal Gekic together with duo partner, Dutch cellist Iris van Eck have invited some of their friends to join them in presenting this delicious concert : Double bassist Luis Gomez-Imbert (Venezuela), violinist Alla Krolevich (St Petersburg, Russia) and violist Kenneth Martinson (USA)
The main entree on the menu will be Schubert’s famous quintet, nicknamed the Trout. For starters there are two very interesting choices: The seldom played piano quartet by Fanny Mendelssohn (Felix’s sister) as well as an amazingly beautiful and unknown piano trio by César Franck.
As dessert, as usual, there will be a lavish Champagne reception
The concert will start at 3PM at the LeiserCenter
221 S.W. 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312
(Valet parking available for a small fee)
Funding for this organization is provided in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council.
This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
