Description

World premiere of a new musical drama starring soprano Caitlin Lynch, commissioned by Music of Remembrance. Jake Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer bring you the incredible true story of Krystyna Zywulska, a Polish Resistance member, poet, and hidden Jew who escaped a ghetto, forged identity papers, faced down Gestapo interrogators, and became the author of concentration camp anthems. Also, works by Holocaust-era composers Ullmann, Haas, and Laks, with special guests The Northwest Boychoir.
