COMMISSIONING CONCERT
Friday's concert features CMA Member Ensembles performing their commissions: The vocal ensemble Cantus offers A Sound Like This, by Edie Hill, Opus 21 performs Frederic Rzewski's Natural Things, and Vijay Iyer's quartet will perform Iyer's suite Tragicomic.

AWARDS BANQUET
Judith Sherman will receive the 2009 Richard J. Bogomolny National Service Award, and Kronos violinist David Harrington will be among those who will speak in her honor. The recipient of the Cleveland Quartet Award, given biennially a young string quartet of exceptional promise, will be announced.
