Duo "2" performed with mezzo D'Anna Fortunato in TN/SC: Shepherd on the Rock, Peter H. Bloom's trans for alto flute


Flutist Peter H. Bloom, of the Duo 2, will perform premieres by Karl Henning and David Leone at Boston’s King’s Chapel October 27 at 12:15 pm.

05.31.2015 Peter H. Bloom will give the premiere of Soliloquy III by Elliott Schwartz on June 12, 2015, at Snow Pond Composers Workshop, co-directed by Richard Nelson and Ed Jacobs.

01.24.2015 Peter H. Bloom will be a faculty member of Snow Pond Composer's Workshop June 7 to 13, 2015.

Flutist Peter H. Bloom of the Duo "2" gave a lecture-recital in Braga, Portugal July 18, 2014, as part of the Animusic Portugal Organological Conference.  Bloom performed on two 19th-century flutes by the great American maker Alfred G. Badger.


"2" has just recorded Pamela Marshall's Zoa (2011) for flute, alto flute, piccolo and harp, to be released later this year on Navona Records.
