ALIAS is a Nashville-based mixed chamber ensemble that has received critical acclaim for its artistry, innovative programming, and down-to-earth approach to chamber music. lIn conjunction with Vanderbilt University and the Schubert Club of St. Paul, MN, ALIAS has co-commisioned a new work by Guggenheim fellow and Latin Grammy-winning composer Gabriela Lena Frank, and in the summer of 2010 recorded a CD of Ms. Frank's works on NAXOS American Classics label. ALIAS musicians donate their services; all proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations.
