A soloist and clinician, MacDonnell has performed throughout the NYC area, and at 2001 Clarifest, the Kennedy Center, Georgia State University, and in outreach programs in NYC, Rio de Janeiro, and Portugal. She has been principal clarinet in the Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira, and in the Marine Band. She is also a multi-instrumentalist, often in shows and national tours such as "Phantom of the Opera," Miss Saigon," "Falsettos," and "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," Frank Sinatra Jr., Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin. Currently she is Instructor at the UN International School in NYC, and presents masterclasses throughout the US. Debut solo CD: "Clarinet Rhapsody". Other recordings include "Enchanted Saint-Saens" and "Chris' Journey".
