Christopher Brellochs has performed at Carnegie Hall and Birdland and is the founder of the QUIET CITY CHAMBER ENSEMBLE. Recordings include "Quiet City" (2011) on Sono Luminus featuring unheard music by Aaron Copland, and solo CD, "Apotheosis of the Saxophone" (2008). Brellochs has lectured on "Benjamin Britten and the Saxophone" and his article, "Aaron Copland's Use of the Saxophone in Wind Band Repertoire," was published in WASBE, Volume 14, 2007. Brellochs is Chair of the Music Certificate Program at Dutchess Community College. He earned a doctorate from Rutgers University, and has degrees from New York University and Ithaca College.
