The Del Sol String Quartet, two-time winner of the CMA/ASCAP Adventurous Programming Award, excels at performing new repertoire, commissioning outstanding composers from around the globe, and collaborating with other musicians and artists in multimedia dance, video, and opera productions. The group reaches thousands through its self-presented Home Season and other concerts in the Bay area, performances on tour across the U.S. and internationally, and its educational programs, including school concerts, coaching workshops, and residencies at universities, schools, and music festivals. Del Sol has released four critically acclaimed CDs since 2002.
