The Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster a greater awareness and love for jazz and blues in the community at large and in the schools. It shares these goals with other jazz and/or blues-oriented groups locally and around the nation. The society presents festivals, performances, free jam sessions, hands-on workshops, clinics, community education, and outreach initiatives, in addition to providing scholarships to deserving college-bound students who wish to further their knowledge and skill in the music field.
