A two-time winner of the ASCAP/Chamber Music America Award for Adventurous Programming, recipient of NewMusic USA's New Music Educators Award, the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award from the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, and the Arizona Governor’s Arts Award, Grand Canyon Music Festival is an annual three-week festival of chamber music and contemporary music held in the intimate setting of the Shrine of the Ages, South Rim, Grand Canyon National Park, with educational outreach programs to rural and Native communities in Arizona and Utah. The festival features nationally renowned artists and diversity in programming, including the seminal Native American Composer Apprentice Project and School of Rock.
