Combining sophisticated composition and virtuosic improvising, Kneebody has created a truly singular instrumental voice. A debut album, "Kneebody" (2005), was released on Dave Douglas's Greenleaf Music label. Next,"Low Electrical Worker" (Colortone),a collection of 13 original songs, was hailed by saxophonist Joshua Redman as one of his "favorite albums of 1977." In 2009, Kneebody and vocalist Theo Bleckmann released "12 Songs of CharlesIves" (Winter & Winter), receiving a Grammy nomination in "Classical Crossover." Kneebody's third studio album is "You Can Have Your Moment" (Winter & Winter).
