Wayne Leechford is adjunct professor of saxophone at North Carolina State University. He holds a BM and MM in saxophone performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He is a woodwind specialist and also plays clarinet, flute, bassoon, and oboe. Mr. Leechford has performed with the New Century Saxophone Quartet and the Free Spirits Ensemble in addition to countless other orchestras, groups, and touring artists. He is a baritone saxophone soloist and has commissioned several new works for that instrument. He owns and operates Leechford Music Teaching Studios in Cary, NC.
