Mélomanie presents provocative pairings of early and contemporary works in innovative collaborations with guest performers and composers. Mélomanie programs Baroque music performed on period instrument alongside contemporary repertoire, including new works written for our ensemble. In 2013-2014, we will premiere pieces by Richard Belcastro, Jennifer Margaret Barker, Curt Cacioppo, and Mark Hagerty. Mélomanie’s new CD, Florescence, released by Meyer Media, features new music written for the ensemble. We are currently at work on our second CD of new music for Melomanie.
