Celebrated by audiences and artists for its architecture and acoustic design, the Biblioteca Luis Ángel Arango recital hall is the preeminent destination chamber music fans in Bogota (Colombia). The hall is part of a national network of 28 cultural branches managed by the Colombian Central Bank. It presents a professional series (55 concerts) and a young performers series (30 concerts) in annual seasons that run March-November.
It has two concert grand Steinways Model D pianos, a French harpsichord modeled after a Goujon based at the Paris Conservatory, an Italian harpsichord modeled after a Grimaldi based at the Nuremberg Museum, as well as a concert organ, providing a platform for exquisite music-making.
