Music of Remembrance is a Seattle-based nonprofit chamber music organization, founded in 1998, dedicated to remembering Holocaust musicians and their art through musical performances, recordings, new commissions, and educational outreach. Composers commissioned: Aharon Harlap, Jake Heggie, Lori Laitman, Betty Olivero, Thomas Pasatieri, Paul Schoenfield, Gerard Schwarz, and David Stock. 2013-2014 Season will feature mainstage concerts at Benaroya Hall on Sunday, November 10, 2013 and Monday, May 12, 2014. Also, Hans Krasá's "Brundibár" returns to MOR Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23, 2014.
