NYJAZZ Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the future of our nation's cultural identity and to furthering jazz as America's art form through performance, education, composition, and audience-building programs. From a faculty of world-renowned jazz greats and NEA Jazz Masters working with student participants in NY and across the country in the classroom and on the stage, to professional ensembles comprised of up-and-coming artists who will redefine the art form, NYJAZZ will keep this music an essential part of the American cultural landscape for future generations.
