Odyssey Chamber Music Series is a nonprofit organization that features over four hundred years of chamber music, performed primarily by local artists, with occasional national and international guest artists. In our program, one could expect a Baroque trio to a bassoon ensemble to a Brahms trio, concluding with Bartok sonata for two pianos and percussion--all in one sitting. Artistic Director Ayako Tsuruta also directs the biennial Plowman Chamber Music Competition, which Odyssey co-presents with First Baptist Church, MU School of Music and Missouri Symphony Society.
