Experience Classical Music with a View! Scenic Orcas Island in Washington State's San Juan Islands serves as the backdrop and inspiration for this two-week festival, held in August each year. Since 1998, Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann and Artistic Advisor Jon Kimura Parker have featured world-renowned musicians who communicate their love of chamber music through concerts, educational talks, and children's performances. Audiences also enjoy pre-concert talks and post-concert Meet the Artist receptions, Music Lovers' Seminars, and Master classes. Musicians-in-residence work with the island's K-12 and preschool students, as well as community musicians during the academic year.
