For 40 years Painted Bride Art Center has been supporting and presenting new work by Philadelphia artists and beyond. The Bride continues to build on a rich legacy of showcasing independent contemporary artists, and it works closely with artists to create programs that support, challenge, and incubate their work. As the Bride has developed over the years as a multicultural, multidisciplinary art space, a natural development of new work has included interdisciplinary and cross-cultural work. The Bride is committed to new voices in jazz and world music traditions.
