A stylistically unique period-instrument ensemble performing 17th- and 18th-century repertoire on original instruments, whose basic formation of two violins, cello/viola da gamba and harpsichord/organ expands to include recorder, flute, additional strings, theorbo, and vocalists. Tours internationally. First prize, Van Wassenaer International Early Music Competition, Utrecht; 1999 National Public Radio ensemble-in-residence. Available for masterclasses, residencies, outreach.
