Stacy Garrop is an award-winning composer who writes dramatic, lyrical music for chamber, orchestral, and choral ensembles. Her music has been performed by the Artaria, Avalon, Biava, Cecilia, Chiara, and Enso Quartets, Lincoln Trio, Gaudete Brass Quintet, Fifth House Ensemble, Orion Ensemble, Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, Rembrandt Chamber Players, Dinosaur Annex, Earplay, ICE, and NewEAR; Minnesota, Detroit, and Albany Symphony Orchestras; Chicago a Cappella, Volti, and the Princeton Singers. Her music is published by Theodore Presser Company; Cedille, Innova, Equilibrium, Ravello, and Summit record labels have recorded her music. She is an Associate Professor and Head of Composition at Roosevelt University.
