The Gilmore Keyboard Festival presents a yearly Rising Stars Series of exceptional young pianists early in their careers, a Piano Masters Series of major pianists at the height of their careers, and a biennial, international music festival, presenting many of the world's finest classical, jazz, and contemporary artists. In addition to its concert programming, the Gilmore Keyboard Festival offers support to exceptional pianists through the Gilmore Artist and Gilmore Young Artist Awards based on an anonymous and noncompetitive selection process, including $300,000 and $15,000 awards, respectively, as well as local, keyboard-based education programs, and the support of new music commissions for the piano.

The Gilmore Keyboard Festival will expand music education and enrichment opportunities for children and families in Battle Creek by establishing a new Piano Lab in an elementary school and increasing its biennial Festival programming. This project is funded by a three-year, $470,000 grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
