Today's Opinion was selected one of the Top 10 albums of the year 2012 by the New York Time , Nate Chinen.
Commissioned by Yerba Buena Garden Festival to write the Suite: Noches de Parrandas. The piece will premier on September 16th, 2013 in San Francisco.
On February 2nd, 2012 will be the premier of the newly created Bohemian Trio which will perform at Symphony Space as part of The Music of Now Marathon. Curated and directed by Tania Leon. The trio is comprise by; Orlando Alonso on piano, Rubin Kodhelic on cello and Yosvany Terry on saxes and chekere. The concert is at 7:30 pm.
Writing the Opera Makandal with libretto by Carl Hancok Rux. This work was commission by Harlem Stage and will be premier on June 2013th.
I was commission to write "AGNOC la Comparsa Irreversible" by the visual artists "Los Carpinteros" from Cuba. This piece will be premier at the Havana Arts Bienal, May 2012
