Commissioned by MapFund & Yerba Buena Garden Festival to write the Suite: Noches de Parrandas. The piece will premier on October 5th, 2013 at Yerba Buena Garden Festival, in San Francisco.
On February 2nd, 2012 will be the premier of the newly created Bohemian Trio which will perform at Symphony Space as part of The Music of Now Marathon. Curated and directed by Tania Leon. The trio is comprise by; Orlando Alonso on piano, Rubin Kodhelic on cello and Yosvany Terry on saxes and chekere. The concert is at 7:30 pm.
Writing the Opera Makandal with libretto by Carl Hancok Rux. This work was commission by Harlem Stage and will premier in the Fall of 2014. I was also commissioned to write the music of la Comparsa Irreversible; by the visual artists "Los Carpinteros" from Cuba. This piece was premiered at the Havana Arts Bienal, May 2013
