Hey everyone! I have great news! I am going on tour with Bill O' Connell, Lincoln Goines and Robbie Ameen to play the Cotton Club in Tokyo, Japan from June 18-21. Should be really fun! I also recently put together a big band in Jersey City. We rehearse every Tuesday from 1-3. If you're interested , PM me on facebook!


I am pleased to announce that my project "Un-Cross Talk: Jazz and Bluegrass Slip 'n Slide Houston Style" has received funding from the Houston Arts Alliance. I will spend the coming year composing original Frontier Jazz songs, which will culminate in a full concert on March 16, 2018.


Jason Hainsworth has been appointed as Assistant Director of the new Roots, Jazz, and American Music program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.


The new album "The Sky Remains" is in the works! Anthony Wilson producing and playing on it!

The Westerlies

Gearing up for our next trip down to Kenner, LA as part of CMA’s “Sound Places” pilot program! We can't wait to perform at the Grand Re-Opening of the Rivertown Kenner Farmer's Market on July 22nd!



WindSync returns to Opelousas, LA from May 10-13, 2017 to continue its Sound Places residency designed to activate and enrich the city through the intersection of creative placemaking and chamber music. The quintet's special focus in May, National Chamber Music Month, will be literacy and storytelling through music. 


We are excited to announce that we begin recording our first Album May 15th.  It is an album called "The Road Less Traveled," and will feature both The Hennessy 6 as well as the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony!  


We're excited to announce that we will be performing our most recent CMA commission - Paul Lansky's 'Springs' - at the Look and Listen Festival at BRIC House on May 19th, 2017!


We are very excited to record an album of new music featuring works by Steven Stucky, Lansing McLoskey, David T. Little, and Joshua Burel. We're working with the Overneath Creative Collective in Kalamazoo, MI at the end of May.
