Quinteto Latino is excited to announce a commissioning contest for Latino composers. The winner will receive a $2500 commission to compose a 6-10 minute work for wind quintet which will then be recorded and performed by Quinteto Latino in San Francisco in 2013.
As part of our Fall Jazz Series, we'll present Gregoire Maret Quartet Oct 25, Jane Bunnett & Hilario Duran with NEA Jazz Master Candido November 1, and the Branford Marsalis Quartet at the National Hispanic Hispanic Cultural Center on Wednesday November 9

The Dmitri Matheny Group announces its fall season (10/26-12/13) of performances through the western states of Arizona, California, Washington and Oregon. The Jazz Noir tour features themes from film noir, spy thrillers and crime dramas, plus a selection of jazz classics and new works.
