Herman, Duo 1 for two flutes from NSM: “Jules Herman's ‘Grands Duos Concertants’ are works of ingenuity, charm, brilliance, grace, and humor. Long overlooked, they are extraordinarily fine examples of concert-worthy duets of the late 19th century." PHB

We have some great projects in the works including a Call for Scores from professional composers and our Maverick Apprenticeship program for high school and college age students and ensembles.  Apprentices will have the opportunity to coach with members of the ensemble and perform in concert with us.

We were thrilled to collaborate with The Gunnelpumpers, members of Access Contemporary Music, and Percussionist Steve Butters last weekend at Constellation, formerly the Viaduct Theatre. The eclectic program spanned the range from modernism, to minimalism, to pure improvisation.
