We were thrilled to have David Biedenbender and his family participate in our Thanksgiving Holiday Concerts! David introduced the emotional back story of "Red Vesper", the work which inspired us to seek him out for the commission. David plans to return in the spring and to be in residence to work on the commission.

Spektral Quartet

Tonia Ko: "I am currently learning about lakeshore geography. In speaking with the quartet about the experience of walking through nature, I am structuring the piece as a sound walk occurring over four movements. I am investigating ways in which the performers can literally carry sounds with them."

Touring in Europe with Mark Feldman in Europe , playing the new Suite " Time Gone Out" commissioned by the CMA



Duo Noire is finishing their upcoming album featuring 6 works they commissioned by women composers to make the classical guitar repertoire more gender inclusive. It will feature premiere recordings of works by Clarice Assad, Courtney Bryan, Golfam Khayam, Mary Kouyoumdjian, Gity Razaz, and Gabriella Smith. 



The Todd Marcus will premier Marcus' CMA commissioned work with performances in Baltimore on 11/30, DC on 12/1, NJ on 12/2, and NY on 12/3.  Details at
