Ancia Saxophone Quartet

The ANCIA Saxophone Quartet is raising funds towards the commission of a new piece by the highly acclaimed Minnesota composer, Libby Larsen, and for travel expenses to present the world premiere of this piece at the World Saxophone Congress in Strasbourg, France in July 2015.

Altius Quartet

Altius Quartet was awarded the Silver Medal in the Senior String Division at the 2014 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition!


We are happy to have been featured on American Public Media's Performance Today with the complete recordings of the Bruch String Quartet in c minor, Op. 9 from 2013 and the Glazunov String Quintet in A major, Op. 39 from 2011 among others.


In August 2014 I will be presenting Tonal Refraction at the International Conference on Music Perception and Pedagogy in Seoul, Korea, showing the practical implications of work done wince 1993 with over 70 individuals ranging from children to professional musicians.


Jon Liechty

Jon Liechty appeared on the Azerbaijani section of the Voice of America, singing and playing at the Novruz (beginning of spring) celebration in Philadelphia.


Akropolis was recently awarded the gold medal prize at the Fischoff Competition! Thank you to everyone who followed and supported us throughout the competition, and especially to those who have been with us over the past 5 years.
