CT Alliance for Music

A sold-out Garden Party in June kicked-off CAM's annual membership/fundraising drive. The Sunday House Concert Series start-up again in September. Planning for the annual Heida Hermanns International Competition in November, this year showcasing strings, has begun in earnest! 


Pianists Marc Peloquin,Yael Manor, and Christopher Oldfather will play solo piano works from the ACA Catalog by Lionel Nowak, Reinaldo Moya, and many others, at Tenri Gallery, on Saturday, Dec. 6th at 7:30pm. 

Noteworthy Sheet Music

NSM welcomes Judith Ross, former Chair of the Theory Dept. at the Longy School of Music, as our newest repertoire contributor. Just published is her arrangement of The Croppy Boy for multi-level harp ensemble.


Our album debut Scatter My Ashes is currently featured in iTunes New and Noteworthy Classical section.


We just returned from an incredible week at the Savvy Musician in Action retreat in Columbia, South Carolina!

Ryan Cohan selected as a Feature Film Fellow for Sundance Institute’s Music and Sound Design Lab at Skywalker Sound this July!

Aoyama Memorial Hall, Kyoto on June 15th as part of the Music Fest Nara 2014

Myonichi-kan Hall, Tokyo on June 20th

Sakado, Ormeau Hall, Saitama on July 6th


Noteworthy Sheet Music

P.H.Bloom created a compelling transcription of the 1st quartet by J.C. de Arriaga, "a work of structural brilliance, rhetorical grace, and elegant intensity". Bloom regularly performs the Quartet in D-minor for Flute and Strings with the Olmsted Ensemble. Sheet music available at NSM.
