Aaron Shragge

Aaron Shragge & Ben Monder will be premiering new music (composed by Aaron Shragge) inspired by the poetry of Charles Bukowski at St-Peter's Church (NYC) and Festival of New Trumpet Music Canada (Montreal) in March 2015. 


Paul Kikuchi receives a Japan - United States Friendship Commission creative artist fellowship to continue developing his 2012 CMA NJW composition Bat of No Bird Island.  Kikuchi will spend three months in Kyoto in the Spring of 2015.

Noteworthy Sheet Music welcomes Ana Benavides, internationally acclaimed pianist and Steinway Artist.  We offer the book entitled Masters of the 19th Century Spanish Piano Music, an anthology of piano masterpieces compiled by Ana Benavides.

We are now accepting applications for PUBLIQ Access! PQA is a genre-independent program designed to highlight the voices of today's emerging composers at the beginning of their careers. Each cycle culminates in a high profile concert and panel discussion with distinguished artists.


In November 2014 the Massachusetts House of Representatives conferred formal recognition to Shelter Music Boston for "concerts with bring the arts, dignity, and respect to homeless men and women."  Here's the proclamation!


Julie Leven received the Boston Neighborhood Fellows Award in April 2014. She is the first classical musician ever to receive this award for "quietly making the community a better place with creativity, vision, and initiative."
