I am selling a great 2007 cello by Lawrence Wilke, not antiqued, Montagnana model. It has a very big, even sound, is made from top quality wood, with a particularly gorgeous back, and has no cracks.  It is at Race Orchestral Strings in Ithaca, NY, 607-319-4158, priced at $30,000.


Marcus is currently on tour with the Lula Washington Dance Theatre. We just left D.C. after 2 nights of performances at Dance Place. We'll be at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on 2/26/15 at 7 p.m.

Duo Sonidos will perform the world premiere of “Funk” for violin and guitar by Spanish-American composer Jorge Muñiz on Tues, Mar 19, at Indiana University South Bend, followed by Chamber Music North on Mar 20 and University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Mar 21. "Funk" was commissioned by DS in 2011. 


French songs from soprano Amy Bartram’s CD with Renaissance guitarist Jocelyn Nelson, Ma Guiterre je te chante, will be featured on the radio program The Millennium of Music, the week of February 11, 2013. The show airs in the US and abroad.

Noteworthy Sheet Music

The Golden "Reade" Flute  by Eugene Dieter was dedicated to Elmer Reade who, along with his gold Haynes flute, inspired the title. The piece is a lovely barcarole & offers interesting writing for both parts - flutist & pianist will be equally pleased.
